Terms & Conditions

Shrambazaar ("Platform", "we", "us") is an online labour marketplace operated by Mantra4Change, connecting skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers ("Workers") with contractors and employers ("Contractors") across India. By registering on or using this Platform you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• Workers must be legally permitted to work in India.
• Contractors must be registered businesses, proprietorships, or individuals with lawful authority to hire workers.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

• Provide accurate personal details, trade skills, and work history.
• Respond honestly to contractor enquiries and job offers.
• Notify the Platform if you have accepted employment and are no longer available.
• Not submit fraudulent documents for Aadhaar or identity verification.
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with contractors through the Platform.

• Post only genuine job opportunities with accurate wages, locations, and working conditions.
• Comply with all applicable Indian labour laws including the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970, Minimum Wages Act 1948, and Building & Other Construction Workers Act 1996.
• Not discriminate against workers on the basis of caste, religion, gender, or disability.
• Use worker profile data solely for legitimate hiring decisions.
• Pay agreed wages on time and provide promised amenities (accommodation, food, etc.).

By accepting these Terms you give your explicit, informed consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Specifically:

• Workers: Your name, mobile number, trade skills, location, Aadhaar verification status, and work photos may be shared with Contractors for hiring purposes.
• Contractors: Your name, company details, and contact number may be displayed to workers viewing job listings.
• You may withdraw consent or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at help@shrambazaar.com. Withdrawal of consent may result in account suspension.

Aadhaar-based verification is offered to build trust on the Platform. Aadhaar data is processed in compliance with the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act 2016. We do not store the full Aadhaar number — only the last 4 digits and verification status are retained.

• Creating fake profiles or impersonating another person.
• Posting job listings with intent to defraud or exploit workers.
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or copying Platform content.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose including forced labour or human trafficking.
• Sharing your account credentials with third parties.

Shrambazaar is an intermediary platform. We facilitate connections between workers and contractors but are not a party to any employment contract formed through the Platform. We are not responsible for:

• The conduct, performance, or reliability of any Worker or Contractor.
• Any employment disputes, wage defaults, or workplace accidents.
• Loss of income or opportunity arising from use or unavailability of the Platform.

Our liability in any event is limited to the fees paid by the user to Shrambazaar in the preceding 3 months.

All content on the Platform — including the Shrambazaar name, S-shield logo, design, and software — is owned by Mantra4Change and protected under Indian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or redistribute Platform content without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. On deletion, your publicly visible profile data will be removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the Platform or SMS. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
